Product Design: Process & Features

Product Design is the comprehensive specification of the arrangement of parts that collectively form a product. A product design specifies how the item will function in a safe, reliable and efficient mode. Product design mainly specifies the main two aspects of a product; the form and the function of a product.

The product design process is the strategic activities to create a product design which starts from idea generation to commercialization. Product designers conceptualize and evaluate ideas in a systematic approach to turn them into the form of products.
