The UN Global Compact invites applications for internship opportunities in the New York
office. The aims of the internship program are to provide the
participants' experience in the working environment of the United Nations. The
participants will work along with experienced career professionals and
management team and will get the opportunity to participate in various
international conferences. This voluntary internship with the UN Global
Compact is obtainable for a period of three to six months with flexible
timing.
Duties
of the Interns:
Based
on the experience and skills, UN Global Compact interns will be given the following
assignments:
To conduct research on topics
related to corporate sustainability, human rights, labor, the environment and
anti-corruption.
To draft and edit documents
and publications.
To arrange meetings,
events and outreach activities.
To support
the office activities by handling email and other inquiries.
To do
assigned administrative tasks in the office.
