A system is a set of complete methods and procedures developed to accomplish an activity.
Production system:
A system that converts a set of inputs
into a set of preferred outputs, ie. the 4Ms; raw materials, men, machine and money are the inputs which will be converted into the form of a complete product through the production system.
The concept of production system includes two sub
subsystems:

Conversion subsystem:
A subsystem of the
larger production system which converts inputs into outputs
2.
Control subsystem
A subsystem of the larger production system where the output
is checked for feedback to give corrective action if needed.
