Objective
of the program: Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS) /
Student Volunteers Foundation is wholly owned by the Ministry of Education
Malaysia, aiming to inculcate the spirit of volunteerism and camaraderie among
the students of tertiary education and to produce global students volunteer
icons.
Location:
Malaysia
Eligible Regions: All ASEAN Member States (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and China.
Benefits: August 2019’s
for three weeks program provides capacity building training for ASEAN + China
Student Volunteers especially in developing valuable skills such as teamwork,
leadership.
Opportunity
to attend YSS extensive leadership training program, YSS-ASEAN Volunteer
Leadership Programme in December 2019.
Eligibility criteria:
The
students should be a full-time student of higher learning institutions.
Age: 18
years old +
Must be undergraduate
and volunteer work on campus
Must be fit
for the mission, non-smoker, free from any criminal record.
Should have
basic knowledge of ASEAN and basic English communication skill.
